All Most Good Things Come To An End

 

For those of you who have been such great supporters and loyal fans, I have some sad news. As of the end of September 2010, The Badly Bent will not be booking any more gigs or playing together anymore.

 

It has been a wonderful, if not unbelievable, run for us. We have so many great memories of festivals, gigs, and events. Most important, we have made so many fantastic friends and supporters along the way.

 

I really want to put out a special thanks to our families that have supported us through the years. Weekends during the summer on the road, schedules that put a serious dent into family time, and having to put up with our trials and tribulations in the band. Each of you has been so incredible and I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.

 

I also want to thank all of our previous band members for your contributions to the growth and success of the band. Each of your talent’s made a substantial difference to our evolution as a band and helped all of us become better musicians and band mates. Thanks.

 

Finally, words cannot express how we each feel about our friends and fans that have been there for us. It has been such a treat to meet you and get to know you. We would have been nothing without the fans we made - you will not be forgotten.

 

We still have hats and CDs for sale. Maybe they’ll be collector’s items someday. Please send me an email (banjo@thebadlybent.com) if you or your friends are interested. I’ll keep this website up for a while so the word gets out. I’d love to keep in touch with you and will use this website to communicate any newsworthy items from the band members.

 

We will be having a Farewell Show on Friday, November 12, 2010, at the Smiley Building in Durango. We will announce details of the show as it gets closer.
