The Badly Bent has been busy over the past couple of months with some great festivals and events. We played our hometown festival, The Durango Bluegrass Meltdown in April with some great national, regional, and local acts on the bill. Jr. Sisk and Rambler's Choice, Kenny and Amanda Smith, Finders and Youngberg, Sawmill Road were but a few of our favorites. Following the Meltdown, we played in Montrose at the Pickin' At The Pavilion festival, put on by Kara and Marcus Caudill (and friends). Thanks again for having us. We always enjoy going to Montrose for this event.
After Montrose, we performed 4 sets at the Pagosa Folk 'n Bluegrass Festival, put on by Dan Appenzeller and Crista Munro. Thanks for having us again. It was as good as it gets, festival-wise. Great friends and great music.
The month of June will find us at the Ft. Lewis College Community Concert hall on the 12th for a free concert with Wild Mountain and on the 26th at the Dolores River Brewery, always one of our favorite gigs of the year.
We are happy to announce that we have just received our second printing of our first CD, self-titled, The Badly Bent. So, we're back in stock for a while. We also have our second batch of hats in several new colors and a more contoured fit.
